MCP is an open protocol that lets AI clients discover and use tools from remote servers. HYBRD MCP gives a connected client permissioned access to training context and structured workout actions.
ChatGPT via Codex, Claude desktop and web, Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code, and any MCP-capable client that supports streamable HTTP and OAuth.
Yes. Download HYBRD on iPhone and sign in with that account when you connect. The connection flow uses the same account as the HYBRD app.
Connecting is free. When a tool requires an active subscription, the MCP server returns a secure Stripe checkout link. Complete checkout, then retry the tool.
Only with workouts:write or profile:write, which you approve at consent. Every write is a structured workout or profile fact you can see in the HYBRD app.
HYBRD uses OAuth 2.1 with PKCE. Your AI client never receives your HYBRD password, access is limited to the scopes you approve, and write access is never included in a default read-only grant.
Switch to Codex and start a Codex conversation first. MCP servers are available on the web with a paid ChatGPT plan; if the setting is missing, enable developer mode under Settings → Security and login (or Apps → Advanced settings).
