My son and I just drove around Europe for the first time two weeks ago.  Probably the most exciting thing we discovered was the Smart Car.  It seemed so cute, so 'out-of-the-box' and progressive.  We shared a first reaction: NO MORE PARALLEL PARKING!  Later, I saw one for the first time in the US.  And just tonight I was reading the Green Car Congress Site, probably the most interesting and up to date and informative site in the Green Car Internet Territory.  It seems the Smart Car is going Hybrid.  And the Mercedes. And Ford is engineering a PLUG IN.
